私は、本展では、「足す」という行為によって生まれる新たな関係や隔たりを通じて、

現実の輪郭が変わり得る瞬間を提示します。

Sense of Contact （SoC） シリーズは、本展で初公開となる新作群です。

壁掛け仏壇をモチーフに、扉の開閉によって

「言葉に制限された世界」と「開かれた世界」の境界に触れる感覚を探ります。

UTSUTSUシリーズは、磨りガラスパネルを用いたスタイルの原点であり、

文字そのものに焦点を当て、必要最小限の要素で構成される作品群です。

本展では香炉から立ち上る煙を象る文字「垔」をモチーフにした第2弾を発表します。

両シリーズに共通する、書に磨りガラス型のパネルを重ねる独自のスタイルが、

鑑賞者に新たな視覚体験をもたらします。

展示空間全体を通して、作品世界が立ち上がる構成となっています。

In this exhibition, I present moments in which the contours of reality can shift

through the new relationships and boundaries that emerge from the act of addition.

Sense of Contact (SoC) is a new series unveiled for the first time in this exhibition.
Inspired by wall-mounted household Buddhist altars,

it explores the sensation of touching the boundary

between “a world confined by words” and “a world that is open,”

through the act of opening and closing doors.

The UTSUTSU series marks the origin of my style employing frosted glass panels.
Focusing on the written character itself, these works are composed with the fewest possible elements.

In this exhibition, I present the second work in the series, featuring the character 「垔」,

which symbolizes the rising smoke of an incense burner.

A shared feature of both series -the layering of calligraphy with frosted glass like panels- invites

viewers into a new kind of visual experience.

Across the entire exhibition space,

the works come together to form a world that gradually unfolds before the viewer.
